Travels and more

While Jim was celebrating at the birthday party, I was in AZ at a medical conference with my co-worker.
The event was held at this beautiful motel and resort
It was a great place to walk around during the breaks, even though it was very hot outside.
I had the privilege of staying with my life-long childhood friend and her husband in their lovely home.
We enjoyed several days of catching up and reliving the memories of years gone by.
We had such a good time and were grateful for the opportunity to be together.
On Memorial Day, we just relaxed and enjoyed some time with friends, hanging out in our fair city.
It was a beautiful day for a hike, so we hit the trails that overlook the city. Afterward, we rewarded ourselves with a stop at Jamba Juice! Thanks R&L for a fun afternoon.
Last weekend, we had a visit from our son and family. We met them at the Discovery Museum first.
Little girls always love the mirrors!
This lite-weight needed daddy's help (and weight) to make this lift work.
Little sister wanted a turn also!
Time for a picnic...
...then back to play again.

A little blurry, but we did enjoy watching the 3-D movie about the sea turtle's adventures. (And later we re-enacted the whole plot once again at bath time that evening!)

After supper, we made a trip to the nearby pastry shop.
"I want dat one!"
